Skim™ is a high-efficiency protein skimmer designed for live holding systems, recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS), and depuration units. Built to handle demanding water treatment scenarios, Skim processes up to 100 cubic meters per hour (440 GPM) and can support closed systems containing up to 19,000 lbs of shellfish without water exchange.

Utilizing Aspirated Gas Injected Flotation (AGIF), Skim mechanically injects microbubbles to separate and remove fine particulates, bacteria, oils, and dissolved organics. It operates entirely without water jets and maintains stable foam density via a patented mechanical separation system. Liquefied foam is removed by pressure, gravity, or pump, ensuring uninterrupted and hygienic water purification.

The Skim™ Plus version adds automated foam regulation via a PLC-controlled actuator system, enabling responsive filtration adjustments and optimized water consumption—all from a centralized control panel. The Skim Plus Pack is available as a retrofit upgrade for traditional Skim units.
